Local boy to appear in 100th episode of “Ghost Whisperer”

Dayton native Joey Luthman can add ghost to his acting resume.

The 13-year-old who had roles on “Weeds,” “Private Practice,” and “iCarly” will be the guest star on the 100th Episode of “Ghost Whisperer.”

Ghost Whisperer star Jennifer Love directed the episode called “Implosion.

It is set to air Thursday, Feb. 4, on CBS. Luthman plays a ghost named Joey.

He is nominated for a Young Artist Award in 2010. He won the award in 2009.

Luthman, a former Oakwood resident, attended Holy Angels School in Dayton.

Where did joey go to school for his acting? I have been looking for a ligitament place in between Dayton and Cinci for acting,singing, and dancing? how did Joey get started in shows and who is is agent?

Yellow Springs Kids Playhouse (YSKP) is also a wonderful place for the arts! We’ve had a wonderful experience with them, kind of a lesser known treasure!

Joey was “Chip” the cup in the Muse Machine production of “Beauty and the Beast”, not sure about La Comedia.

Hi Amelia, Thanks for the article about Joey. I am sorry that the episode did not air on Feb 4th. It was preempted by the Olympics, imagine that ? But, It is going to air on March 5th, next Friday. So, I hope you can share this with your readers. Thanks again to all the fans. And yes Joey was the teacup “Chip” in both LaComedia and Muse Machine production of Beauty and the Beast.
