Middletown Middies football preview
MIDDLETOWN MIDDIES / GREATER MIAMI CONFERENCE
D-I; Region 4
Head coach: Troy Everhart; second year; previously head coach at Winton Woods where he won the 2009 D-II state title and compiled an 80-41 overall record in 11 seasons; came to Middletown after one season as a UC assistant coach.
Assistant coaches: Matt Tyla, Joe Snively, John Hembree, Davonne Calhoun, Kurt Himmelwright, Frank Frazier, Ben Agnew, Ryan Evans.
2011 record: 6-1 GMC; 10-2 overall.
2011 highlights: Won first playoff game in school history and posted third straight 10-win season, the best three-year run in program history. Defeated Centerville 28-10 in the first round of the playoffs then dropped a 42-30 shootout to Moeller.

Jalin Marshall, 6-0, 200, sr., QB; GMC player of the year; school-record 1,859 rushing yards on 237 carries (7.8) and 20 TDs; also completed 46 of 105 passes for 782 yards, 6 TDs and 4 INTs; committed to OSU.
