Troy McDonald’s to reopen Sunday with buy one-get-one special
I’ve got a broader story ready for publication in the Dayton Daily News print editions (watch for it perhaps in Tuesday’s editions) about $16.6 million worth of 2012 McDonald’s construction projects in a dozen Dayton-area restaurants, but in the meantime, here’s some news about the Troy McDonald’s total rebuild that we first told you about back in March. Construction is complete, and the restaurant is scheduled to reopen this Sunday, June 17, with a Father’s Day “Buy One, Get One Egg McMuffin or Quarter Pounder with Cheese” special offer, according to Leslie Holbrook, a spokeswoman for the region’s McDonald’s restaurants.
The specials don’t stop there. Here’s the full list, as supplied by Holbrook:
June 17: Buy One, Get One Egg McMuffin or Quarter Pounder with Cheese
June 18: First 100 customers get an Extra Value Meal Every Week for a Year. Ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.
June 19: Pack the Patio Party product sampling for teens 3-5 p.m.
June 20: Free coffee all day
June 21: First 100 customers receive a free McCafe beverage
