Good Friday, and an even better Saturday — for tasting wine in Dayton
There are good Fridays, and then there’s Good Friday. And let’s not forget an entire Easter weekend filled with enticing tastings at virtually every wine shop on every corner in every nook and cranny of the Miami Valley. It just goes to show you that when it comes right down to it, we are … well … blessed.
Yet another sign of spring has popped up in the following list of wine tastings and dinners in the Dayton area: The first 2008 European rose’s have made it to our shores and onto store shelves. A joyous occasion indeed.
Note also that Milla Handley of Handley Cellars is in town next week for some special events that include a tasting on April 14 at Bella Vino in Springboro, and I believe she’ll also be at The Winds in Yellow Springs for a 7 p.m. wine dinner on April 17.
