Jay’s to host ‘Big Red’ Christmas wine luncheon
DAYTON — Jay’s Restaurant, 225 E. Sixth St. in Dayton’s Oregon Historic District, will host a Big Red Christmas Luncheon at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.
The menu includes Seared Sea Scallops with Mixed Mushrooms and Cream, served with 2009 Erath Pinot Noir; Dundee Hill Lamb Loin En Croute with Seasoned Spinach and Basil Demi, served with 2008 Tenuta Sette Ponti Crognolo; Grilled Duck Breast Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette and Caramelized Walnuts, served with 2009 Marquis Casa Concha Carmenere; Sliced Smoked Prime Rib of Beef with Celery Mashed Potatoes and Cabernet Jus, served with 2006 Chateau Diane De Belgrave; and White Chocolate Cheesecake served with Piper Sonoma Rose sparkling wine.
